Thermal Solutions specialist GELID Solutions unveils its multi-compatible VGA Cooler “ICY VISION”
of its GAMER product line.
The “ICY VISION” cooler contains 5 power heatpipes in a unique heatpipe constellation. The
heatpipes are interlaced into 85 optimized high-quality Aluminium fins. Together with a flat stack fin
soldered Copper base, they enable the most efficient heat transmission and dissipation from GPU
core in its class.
Besides the heatsink, two 92mm UV-reactive fans with 11 blades in S-shape generate 20% more air
flow than traditional fans. The fan contains a high-quality ball bearing to ensure a longer lifetime in
high temperature environments.
The “ICY VISION” is both CrossFire and SLI compatible on a number of cards. Ram and Voltage
Regulator Module cooling components as well as the high performance GC-2 thermal compound
are included in the package.

The package dose bundle a lower end GC-2 thermal compound but for top end graphics card, I recommend you use another thermal compound as this is there low-end compound.

It's SILENT, money well spent to save your ears from stock cooler is totally worthwhile, not to mention it has performance gain, temperature wise and the looks too.
The test
I tested the Icy Vision against the Stock cooler at 27 degree Celsius acoustic ambient.
the card installed in an Antec 900 tower case with side door closed.
Stock idle @ auto fan speed 51degree Celsius
Stock idle @ 100% fan speed 42 degree Celsius
Icy Vision idle 35degree Celsius
Very impressive temperature with the Icy Vision, on air cooled high end graphic card stay under 40 degree Celsius at idle is pretty impressive thing to see and it's silent.
I used Everest with 100% load to stress the GPU core and VRM modules as hard as possible and see will the break the cooler.
The data was collected approximately every 30 mins.
Stock auto fan speed@86% 94 degree Celsius
Stock 100% fan speed 88 degree Celsius
Icy Vision 80 degree Celsius
The Icy Vision preformed quite well for daily things.
This has got to be one of the best aftermarket cooler for Fermi and ATI 5 series.
The performances, the silence of the fans, sturdy build.
If you’re up for a challenge to fit this then I say go for it as you will see a benefit from it but it is a bit of a challenge to fit…
