The In-Win Dragon slayer case is a sturdy and well-built mATX Case that would not look out of place on any Si-Fi Set. The design is really a love or hate thing but we love it. The Dragon Slayer definitely has a great potential. You can tell that ventilation was the main focus of the design with mesh at the front and the side to allow for a good airflow. The case comes with a 80mm fan to cool the disk drives and also a big 140mm fan installed on the front panel. Additional fans can be found at the rear (80mm) and top (140mm) of the case there are also more points to mount fans with up to 8 fans supported.

No door is present and the case has three external 5 ¼” bays (one at the top and two at the bottom of the case) and one external 3 ½” bay, below the top 5 ¼” bay. Usually mini-tower cases have at least three 5 ¼” bays on the top part of the case, but on Dragon Slayer the manufacturer decided to place these bays on a different configuration in order to allow the installation of two video cards up to 12.6.

The bottom bays come with a hard disk cage installed and conveniently cooled by the front 80mm fan. The case comes with hot swap drive adapters with rubber fittings to reduce noise although to remove the drives you must first remove the power supply, a small oversight but this does not take away from the positives. There is even a space for a 2.5” SSD unit.

The front of the case includes mic and headphone jacks two USB ports and a power button. There is also the nice addition of a blue USB 3.0 port on the front.
If you think all mini-tower cases are low-end, think again. The Dragon Slayer is an outstanding high-end case for people who want to build a high spec yet small computer.

T This case really dose come in a well thought-out box, the new layout of the inside is also a very good idea from the In-Win team.
Yes this case might be a bit small but dont let that make you change your mind about it as this is the perfect case for lan partys or if your wanting to make a killer pc in a smaller case. We award this case the AZCS.co.uk five stars!!
